ONLINE, 10 – 12h, Thursday, 17 April 2025
Within the framework of the ‘SMARTLABOR – Strengthening Alliances for Policy Development and Testing in the domain of Innovation, Digitalization, and the Labor Market in the Western Balkans“, the Centre for Public Policy Research/Re:People will present a national report “Which Skills Small Farmers Need and What They Get” on Thursday, 17 April 2025.
The report is the result of the desk research, focus groups meetings and key stakeholder mapping exercise conducted by the Public Policy Research Centre/Re:People in the second half of 2024.
The report investigates the skills supply and demand in Serbian agriculture, particularly in the context of digital technology adoption for sustainability. It responds to the questions about the digital tools currently used by small farmers and their purpose; the skills that farmers need to effectively apply digital solutions and enhance their production and the way in which small farmers learn about the adoption of digital and biotech solutions. The report also provides a set of recommendations and opens up space for collaboration of all the interested stakeholders in the future.
The online presentation of the report will take place on Zoom from 10 to 12h
