FARMER Invited to Present at EACEA Event in Sarajevo

We are pleased that the FARMER project has been invited to participate in and present its work at an event organised by Unit A2 – Skills and Innovation of the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA), as part of the Agency’s mission to Sarajevo on 7–8 October 2026 at the International University of Sarajevo (IUS).

The event will bring together partners from Bosnia and Herzegovina participating in projects under the Capacity Building for Vocational Education and Training (CB-VET) action, selected under the 2024 and 2025 calls for proposals.

FARMER will be represented by Nermin Oruč from the Center for Development Evaluation and Social Science Research (CREDI), one of the project partners in Bosnia and Herzegovina. He will participate in the sessions scheduled for 7 October and present the project’s work and early implementation experience.

The meeting will provide an opportunity for participating CB-VET projects to exchange experiences, discuss implementation challenges and strengthen dialogue with EACEA and the wider Erasmus+ community in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

For FARMER, the event is an important opportunity to present the project’s approach to strengthening vocational education and training in the agri-food sector in the Western Balkans, including curriculum development, cooperation between schools and labour-market actors, and the development of skills needed for the digital and green transformation of agriculture.

Participation in the Sarajevo event will also allow the FARMER partnership to connect with other CB-VET projects and explore opportunities for further exchange and cooperation across the region.
