We’re excited to present the paper:
“Data Governance in the Agricultural Sector: A Comparative Analysis of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, and North Macedonia.”
This study explores the state of data availability and governance in the agricultural sectors of these countries. It highlights key challenges like fragmented data ecosystems, limited interoperability among data providers, and underinvestment in digital infrastructure. These issues are critical for farmers, agribusinesses, policymakers, and civil society as they directly impact agricultural productivity, sustainability, and food security.

Better data governance can strengthen decision-making, improve access to markets, and enhance competitiveness in agriculture. It’s essential for anyone working in or with the agricultural sector — from farmers and agribusinesses to policymakers and researchers.
