Do not miss: From research to practice — data protection in agricultural work

Re:People – Centre for Society and Technology, in cooperation with the Institute for the Application of Science in Agriculture, the Smart Agriculture Council of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce – Belgrade Chamber of Commerce, and the Group for Advisory Services and Knowledge Transfer of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, invites representatives of institutions, advisory services, farmers’ associations, the academic community, and companies developing smart solutions in agriculture to the workshop “EU Integration and Data Protection in Agriculture: Developing and Piloting an Educational Module on Data Protection in Agriculture”, which will take place on 14 May 2026, from 9:30 to 14:30, at the Belgrade Chamber of Commerce, Kneza Miloša 12, Room 6.

The workshop is dedicated to testing and improving an educational module on data protection in agriculture, with a particular focus on the practical challenges of working with data from agricultural holdings, applying basic data-protection principles, and ensuring alignment with the national and European legal frameworks. Through the presentation of research findings, the regulatory framework, and interactive work on concrete scenarios, participants will have the opportunity to contribute to adapting the module to the needs of advisory practice and everyday work in agriculture.
